Spicy Tomato Dip

This has to be the easiest dip EVER!! It's perfect for tortilla chip dipping or chicken dipping or anything that can be dipped!

Economy brand tomatoes are fine for this recipe & you can use oregano if you're one of those people who don't like coriander!


Makes enough for 4-6 people at approx 35p

Prep time 5 minutes No cooking


1 tin tomatoes

3 slices of bread or 1 bread roll preferably a few days old

1 clove garlic, crushed

1 tsp paprika

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

1/2 bunch of coriander or oregano if you prefer

salt & pepper



Put the bread & herbs & spices into a food processor or mini chopper & blitz until fine then add the rest of the ingredients & blitz again until combined. Check the seasoning & adjust if necessary.




Put into an airtight container & keep in the fridge until ready to serve.

Remove from the fridge & allow to come up to room temperature before serving.
