Creamy Garlic Mushrooms on Toast

Anything on toast can only be a good thing & these lovely creamy mushrooms are no exception!


Serves 4, approx 91p per person


Prep/Cooking time 20 minutes





500g chestnut mushrooms

2 garlic cloves, crushed

150g garlic & herb soft cheese

150ml hot vegetable stock

2 part baked baguettes

Heat some oil in a frying pan & cook the mushrooms & garlic for about 3 minutes until soft.

Stir in the stock & the cheese & simmer for a few minutes.

Heat the grill & toast the bread to your liking.

Top the toast with the mushrooms & a little black pepper if you like.
