Quick & Easy Mushroom Pate

Only 2 ingredients! Couldn't be simpler, couldn't be tastier! Great as a snack or even as a starter.


Serves 6-8 Approx £1.25 for the lot


Prep/Cooking time 20 minutes





250g chestnut mushrooms

2 tbsp garlic & herb cream cheese

salt & pepper

Sautée the mushrooms in a knob of butter & a little oil until soft. Allow to cool on some kitchen paper.

Put the mushrooms into a food processor or blender & whizz until fine. Add the cream cheese & salt & pepper to taste & whizz again.

Transfer the pate to a dish & chill until ready to eat.





Serve on hot toast or crackers.
