Yes, I know there is already a Tuna Pasta Bake here but this one is different!
Creamy but not too naughty if you use half fat creme fraiche & low fat cream cheese,
Serves 4 Approx 78p per person
Prep time 10 minutes Cooking time 25-30 minutes
2 tins tuna, drained
300g broccoli broken into florets
200ml half fat creme fraiche
75g cream cheese (low fat if you prefer)
salt & pepper
200g pasta, shells or bows work well
50g grated cheddar
Pre-heat the oven to 180Fan/200C/Gas 6
Cook the pasta & broccoli together in a large pan of boiling salted water for about 10 minutes.
Drain & return to the pan off the heat.
In a small bowl beat the cream cheese with the creme fraiche until smooth & season with salt & pepper.
Add the tuna to the pasta & broccoli.
Pour in the cream cheese mixture & stir well.
Transfer to an ovenproof dish & top with the grated cheese.
Place in the oven for 15 minutes.
Serve with crusty bread & salad.
