Hello my lovelies, I'm just on my third cup of tea, watching (lovely) James Martin's Saturday Morning & thought I'd have a little catch up with you all. Apologies for being AWOL for a bit. To be honest, not a lot has happened recently, well nothing serious thank goodness & life has been pretty quiet...which is just how I like it!
I know I've said it before but I'm loving the cooler temperatures that we've had this week- yes, I'm fully aware that I'm probably in the minority but that's just me. If it's chilly I can pop on a lovely cardigan & some fluffy socks or slippers- oh, & don't forget the hot chocolate!!
If I'm too hot I'm like a bear with a sore head...a very sweaty, grumpy bear!
The darker evenings also mean candles, fairy lights & general coziness...bliss...🥰🥰🥰
I've managed to avoid the hospital for a bit, except for this week when I was invited to attend a "treatment seminar"! Basically this was a chance for me to find out about what kind of treatment options will be available to me when the time comes. It was very interesting & I came away with a lot more knowledge about the different types of dialysis. As my consultant said a few months ago though, hopefully this decision will be way into the future but at least I know what is to come & it feels a bit less scary now..
I've got a massive pile of leaflets & booklets to read on the subject so that will keep me busy for a while! 🤓🤓🤓
It will also stop me from indulging in my new obsession....Reddit!
For those of you unfamiliar with Reddit it's basically another social media platform where you can join communities relating to hobbies & interests, sharing opinions on news topics etc. It's also a place where you can get advice from complete strangers on life problems, big, small or absolutely ridiculous!
I'm aware that some are fake but to be honest I find them entertaining & very interesting at times-how on earth do people get themselves into such pickles?!! 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
I suppose what I'm saying is, is that I'm just a nosey parker & this is a great way to be a nosey parker & not get a reputation for it- except now I've told you lot....you'll keep that between us won't you..?🤔🤔🤔
